He eventually ate all the catnip off the mouse and wore himself out (he is sleeping in the box now). The mouse can stay out, but the rest of the catnip is double-bagged inside the freezer.

Hmmm, whenever I put any catnip in front of Ralphie, he rolls over and takes a nap.
