SprayOnSalt.com
I have a new blog up for your reading pleasure: SprayOnSalt.com. I'm setting myself up as something of a "cool hunter" since much of what I seem to do is notice what is new and interesting out there. I'll post about products and places (real and virtual) that I think are worth knowing about, are particular good deals, or demonstrate exceptional style. I'll take suggestions, recommendations, and requests for research, so please take a look and let me know what you think.

This is very, very exciting. You have vast resources already waiting and ready that you can make available to others. It is such a cool idea. I am sorry that I hadn't had a chance to sit down at my computer and catch up before I spoke with you. I am thrilled that you launched this and, with your permission, will send the URL to some friends. This is a site that I will definetly use myself. I did get two silicon pot holders at Bed, Bath , and Beyond. I am having great fun with them. Way to go, Jon.

Actually, I only posted this message after we spoke on the phone. I've been trying to pull together the design for the past week or so and get a little bit of content on there before I started talking about it. By all means send around the URL. I get a tiny, tiny amount for each page view because of the ads (maybe 1/10 of a cent) but I hope it will eventually pay for the hosting costs.

I have already sent out information about it to the folkks at Cognition Works and to a friend of mine. I reminded dad to listen up for people at the University who are saying things like "I wonder where I could find?" or "I'd like to know a good ____", etc. I will do the same when I am about-, but I interact with far fewer people than dad does. I think it is an excellent idea. The web site looks great.
Everythingn here is turning gold now. It seems to be happening very quickly. It is so beautiful. I just can't get over the fact that I live somewhere now surrounded by so much beauty.

I hope SprayOnSalt.com (again, what a great name!) is a stunning commercial success. Why, I've already made a whole 50 cents from my blog.

I notice that I fell off the wagon on my commitment to double check for typos. I am re-taking the pledge.
I am not familiar with blog etiquette. Can one address another blogger through someone else's blog. In other words can I ask, "Melanie, what's your blog?"

Sure. I think the proper etiquette for me to reply would be to take this offline. In fact, I tried to be resp-etiquette-ful by not posting it the first time :) but here it is:
All About Content - a blog about search that doesn't take SEO too seriously.

I'm glad you two worked that out... I've been futzing with my secret project that I came up with yesterday. I think it might actually be really clever but I need to get about 2 weeks of work on it to move beyond the proof-of-concept stage.
Thank you for the referrals and compliments on the site. I hope it helps some people while staying fun.

This is very exciting. I will look forward to the unveiling--or not, if it doesn't turn out.
